This console has received my "Full Service" so....
- Replaced all caps with new ones from Console5.com
- Proper SMD caps replaced on the motherboard
- New high quality caps in the PSU
- Resoldered all high stress mechanical connections (controller ports, memory card slots, power/AV jacks, parallel port)
- Treated all ports with DeoxIt
- Motherboard and PSU has been deeply cleaned
- Shell has be coated with Aerospace 303 UV protectant
- All plastic on plastic has been lubed (no sticky buttons or lids here!)
- Disassembled and cleaned power switch
- Optical drive fully tore down, cleaned & lubed
Console DOES NOT include...
- Cables, Memory Cards, Games, Controllers etc... This is CONSOLE ONLY
Disclaimer:
I've provided plenty of pics for you to make up your mind as to the condition of the console. This case DOES have scratches, dings, scuffs etc... as it is a almost 30yr old console. The Parallel port cover is a resin printed replacement. The color is off but it serves its purpose and will keep dust out of your port. I've done my best to provide pictures of any areas I thought should be highlighted. There is a crack in the shell located by the parallel port (see pics) and a scuffed corner on the back left side of the console (see pics).
I've put this together for those that have asked about a console without an XStation. If you would like to install one in the future it can be done but you would have to remove the wiring for the PsNee and change the settings in the PS1Digital from PsNee to XStation before installing the XStation.
