Complete Teardown: A thorough disassembly to inspect and address every component for optimal functionality.
Ultrasonic Cleaning: The console shell and motherboard are cleaned using advanced ultrasonic technology, preserving original elements while removing dirt and debris.
Capacitor Replacement: Old capacitors are swapped with premium, brand-new ones from Console5.com for stable power and longevity.
Switch/Button Maintenance: Power and reset switches/buttons are cleaned and treated with DeoxIt for responsive, smooth operation.
Optical Drive Maintenance: The drive is cleaned and relubricated to boost disc readability, with laser replacement available if needed.
Resoldering: High-stress connections like controller ports, memory card slots, and power/A/V ports are resoldered for superior durability.
Thermal Pad/Paste Replacement: Fresh thermal materials are applied as required to maintain efficient cooling and prevent overheating.
Silicone Greasing: Plastic parts, including switches, buttons, and gears, are lubricated with high-quality ShinEtsu silicone grease for effortless movement and extended life.
Aerospace 303 Treatment: The shell receives a protective coating of Aerospace 303 UV protectant to guard against fading, cracking, and dust accumulation.

Additional upgrades on this console:
New Aftermarket Shell: Brand new after-market shell in a two-tone Smoke Black/Ice Blue color scheme.
Fan Upgrade: The stock fan has been upgraded to a quiet, aftermarket NoiseBlocker X1s model, mounted with a custom 3D-printed bracket featuring the Cube logo.
Battery Upgrade: The original soldered CMOS battery has been removed and replaced with a convenient battery socket, complete with a fresh Maxell CR-2032 battery for easy future swaps.
Custom Holo Decals: All decals have been replaced with our high-quality holographic versions for a stunning, iridescent finish. This console has a custom DHG serial number. This is #1 of a run of custom NGC consoles that we are putting together.
CNC Logo: These after-market shells do not come with the branded logo on the lid. This one does (see pics).
Custom Jewel: Includes the original Jewel (polished) plus a unique, handmade custom Jewel: Featuring a custom-designed Cube logo printed on holographic vinyl and encased in durable epoxy. This is a one-of-a-kind piece that is removable like the original. This custom Jewel is about 1mm thinner than the original.
Power LED Swap: The standard orange power LED has been upgraded to a vibrant RGB LED that slowly cycles through colors for a modern, eye-catching glow.
Optional Add-On: Flippy Drive ODE Installation Enhance your setup further with the Flippy Drive ODE for disc-free gaming via SD card. The disc drive will remain functional with this upgrade. We have the kit in stock and can install it professionally, adding just 1 day to handling time for thorough testing. Note that this upgrade requires removing the top shell to access the SD card slot. Alternatively, you can purchase an SD extension from laserbear.net and ship it to our shop; we'll handle the installation (recommended). This will require additional handling time while we wait on the part to arrive and get it installed for you.
